A FrontRowEdge fitting system

Garment Lab™

Garment Lab is a practical fitting and garment intelligence workspace built to help customers collect clearer measurements, understand fit, and submit review-ready information before ordering formalwear.

What Garment Lab is

Garment Lab is the development and testing hub behind NMBL Vault and Bespoke by Custom Styches. It is where garment engineering, bespoke refinement, tactical refinement, fit diagnostics, stress testing, and customer-facing fitting tools are developed together into one working system for real-world wear and performance.

What Garment Lab is not

Garment Lab supports bespoke tailoring, tactical refinement, movement testing, stress-point evaluation, breathability research, and performance-oriented formalwear development for both specialized and everyday clients.

TailorPoints™

TailorPoints™ is one phase of the Garment Lab workflow. It is the guided intake and fitting tool used to collect more accurate measurements, movement requirements, fit observations, and garment diagnostics before garments move into bespoke refinement, tactical refinement, or production review.

Customer-facing fitting tool

TailorPoints should live as a sub-menu item under Garment Lab. The landing page explains who you are; TailorPoints is where the actual fitting workflow begins.

What TailorPoints™ does

TailorPoints™ is a guided fitting and intake workflow designed to help Garment Lab gather cleaner and more useful fit data for bespoke, tactical, and performance-oriented garment development.

Lifestyle Questions

Boots, large watches, sitting, dancing, driving, movement, and slim-fit expectations are considered.

Fit Education

Explains terms like drape, point-to-point, rise, sleeve preference, and nested suit sizing.

Review Flags

Unusual proportions, large alteration needs, or comfort risks are flagged for human review.

Clean Summary

Produces an organized fitting summary that is easier for your team to evaluate before ordering.

How the Garment Lab workflow functions

1

Client intake

Clients enter through FrontRowEdge, NMBL Vault, or Bespoke by Custom Styches and begin the TailorPoints process.

2

TailorPoints fitting

TailorPoints guides measurements, fit diagnostics, movement expectations, and performance-related garment questions.

3

Lab review

Garment Lab reviews body structure, stress points, fit concerns, comfort requirements, and alteration expectations.

4

Development phase

Garments move into bespoke refinement, tactical refinement, testing, production review, or future garment development.

Fit education, without overwhelming the customer

Customers can move through the fitting quickly, or open extra explanations when they need help. The education supports the fitting process without taking over the page.

Shoulder Fit

Shows why shoulder seams matter and why point-to-point should not simply copy a bad jacket.

Movement Reality

Explains why pinned model photos may not represent a suit that can sit, bend, walk, or dance.

Pant Comfort

Rise, seat, waist, boots, taper, and movement are addressed before pants become uncomfortable.

Sleeve Preference

Customers can consider cuff exposure, watch size, and the sleeve length they actually prefer.

Nested Suit Sizing

Explains why pants may be larger than expected when the jacket size drives the suit selection.

Review Confidence

Helps identify when the customer can proceed or when your team should review before shipping.

What Garment Lab is not

It is not meant to replace expert judgment overnight. It is built to make the existing remote fitting process cleaner, clearer, more consistent, and more professional.

TailorPoints™

TailorPoints is the app/tool inside Garment Lab. This is where customers begin the guided fitting process, answer fit questions, enter measurements, and create a summary your team can review.

Customer-facing fitting tool

TailorPoints should live as a sub-menu item under Garment Lab. The landing page explains who you are; TailorPoints is where the actual fitting workflow begins.

What the tool does

TailorPoints is more than text on a page. It is a structured fitting workflow that asks the right questions in the right order and turns answers into useful review information.
